DIANA ISHAK
Diana embarked on her career in intellectual property law after completing her Master's Degree in Intellectual Property (IP) Law in 2015. Her vast experience in intellectual property ranging from trademark, copyright, patent and industrial design has provided her with ample knowledge to assist her clients both locally and internationally. Since the beginning of her career in IP, she has represented hundreds of brands before the Trademark Registry's Hearing Officers and handled not only IP prosecution cases but also trademark opposition, cancellation and invalidation proceedings.
Apart from IP law, her in-house practice also extends to media and advertising law, gaming law, eSport and data protection. Her comprehensive knowledge enables her to assist her local and international clients in strategizing their IP management from brand protection to its extended use for advertising and promotional events.
Diana is fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin Chinese. She is a registered trademark agent of the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR).
